“Go and look toward the sea,” he told his servant. And he went up and looked.
“There is nothing there,” he said.
Seven times Elijah said, “Go back.”
The seventh time the servant reported, “A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea.”

A Message from Anointed Messenger
Some time ago I got a great bargain on portraits and I posted one of the "glamorous" headshots as my Facebook profile picture. I received maybe two likes — from two of my first cousins. I thought, "Oh well, maybe the picture isn't so great." Like many of us, I recycle my profile pictures, and I posted the picture again later, but this time I received a huge outpouring of likes and positive comments. It was the exact same picture; the only thing that was different was the timing.
It was a reminder to me that some things that didn't work out before will work out when the timing is right. It's tempting to assume that if it didn't work before it will never work. After all, no one wants to waste their time. It's also painful to go back to something that brought heartache and/or disappointment when it didn't work in the past. I admit there are some things that I really don't want to pick up again, because of all the problems I encountered when it (apparently) wasn't the right time.
It takes faith to keep going back to something that doesn't seem to be working. I think about when Elijah prayed for rain. He told his servant the rain was coming, but every time the servant looked he didn't see anything. Elijah kept saying go back and look again, and finally on the seventh time there was a small cloud the size of a man's hand in the sky. Shortly after there was a sudden heavy rain.
God's Beloved have you looked away from something that you were certain God placed in your spirit? Maybe God is saying GO BACK AND LOOK AGAIN. If God promised rain there's going to be rain — in God's timing.
Prayer is not just talking to God; it's also listening. Listen to God speak.
BELOVED CHILD
I AM NOT A MAN AND I DO NOT LIE
JUST AS THE RAIN WATERS THE EARTH
MY WORD GOES OUT AND DOES NOT RETURN VOID
I KNOW THE THINGS THAT HAVE NOT WORKED IN THE PAST
I AM WORKING IN YOU AND YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES
I KNOW THE PROMISES THAT REMAIN UNFULFILLED
I KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE HOPED FOR BUT NOT YET SEEN
GO BACK AND LOOK AGAIN
HAVE FAITH TO BELIEVE
HAVE COURAGE TO TRY AGAIN
MY TIMING IS PERFECT
TRUST ME
