It may look good but...

A Message from Anointed Messenger

Many are raving about the weather in Houston today. It's pleasant, sunny, cooler, and finally there's relief from the usual humidity. But the weather forecaster warned that the air quality is very poor. Even though the temptation is great, this is not the time to be outside walking, running, biking, etcetera. People with respiratory conditions have to be especially careful.

Likewise, there are times in life when the conditions look great, yet God seems to keep the door closed. This is why we walk by faith and not by sight. God knows what's really going on and God knows what is best for us.

Lord remind us to seek Your guidance in all situations. Help us resist the temptation to get involved in something that looks good but isn't really good for us.

When they came, he looked on Eliab and thought, “Surely the Lord's anointed is before him.”  But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
1 Samuel 16:6-7 ESV

For we walk by faith, not by sight.
2 Corinthians 5:7
