Unsent

A Message from Anointed Messenger

Sometimes I'll ask a friend about an email and they'll insist they've already responded to me. Oh? I didn't get it. Often it turns out the email in question is in their Drafts folder. They've done all the work, and said what needed to be said, but forgot to push send.

How often do we labor in life and neglect to share the fruit of our labor? I confess I have written many messages but neglected to share or publish them. How many times do we have a kind or encouraging word for someone, but neglect to share it with them?

Christians are called Sent Ones because God has sent us on a mission. We are to do good works and to disciple the nations. Many of us have thought long and hard about what we are to do; and many of us have actually done the work but neglected to do the most important part — share with the world.

What is still in your Drafts folder? An unpublished book? Witty inventions? Prophetic encouraging words? Kind acts? A ministry? God's Beloved we have been drafted into the army of the Lord for such a time as this. Someone's life will be changed when you take what God's given you out of the draft folder and send it.

Lord I am grateful that You have called me for such a time as this. Forgive me for not sharing everything You put on my heart to share, and for not going everywhere You have sent me. Give me courage to go into the world and preach the gospel. Deliver me from everything that holds me back; including fear, procrastination, and distractions.

Luke 10:1-2 CEB
After these things, the Lord commissioned seventy-two others and sent them on ahead in pairs to every city and place he was about to go. He said to them, “The harvest is bigger than you can imagine, but there are few workers. Therefore, plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out workers for his harvest.

Romans 10:15 NIV
And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

Mark 16:15 AMP
And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach and publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race].

  1. My Dear Sister In Christ! I have just answered the call to do the "rest" of what God has called me to do and that is to continue to write the books and get the magazine for senior saints going. I have been deterred by lack of funds, etc but I labor on. I have gone on hiatus from a three year praise and prayer group because things were becoming monotonous and people were taking advantage of the ministry in a way I cannot fully explain, but I am moving forward with God. I live in an area where the big hat wearers and those who are self proclaimed prophets and prophetesses and apostles are coming out of the woodwork and if you are not part of a "certain" circle, then you do not count. This is not hating on anyone and I have no other way to share except that I am not dealing with the spirit of offense or any other thing...but truth is truth! I am in a special place with the Lord right now and I have to be still in order to know what my next step is. Please keep me in prayer. Love and Blessings!

    1. Zenobia I am so proud of you. I may not know or understand all the details of your situation, but I can certainly relate. Obstacle after opstacle can tempt one to give up, and question whether one is really called by God to move forward. However as I look back I can see how delays worked for my good and allowed for more preparation, development, and connections. I am fully persuaded that you are going to come out of this victoriously Zenobia, and you know you are in my prayers! Love & blessings! 😇💜
