Say it and believe it:
I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.
1 Corinthians 3:6 NIV
A Message from Anointed Messenger
JOURNAL EXCERPT
I received lots of Pinterest [an online pin board] notifications about people liking and repinning my pins. I haven’t even been on Pinterest in a while. But there was a time when I was on Pinterest faithfully. It was hard to tear myself away. I found lots of great pins and made boards I was proud of. Now, much later people are sharing and enjoying those pins. Many of them aren’t even following me, but somehow my pins are reaching them.
What came to me is that it may be the same in ministry. Maybe Anointed Messages from long ago, from a time when I shared faithfully (daily), are reaching people now. Circulating around the world. Seeds that I’ve sown are not forgotten. Once planted they continue to grow without my assistance.
I got more confirmation of that. I wanted the Discover It Card because it comes with free credit reports. I tried to apply online but there was a brief application which asked for income. I forget what the minimum income requirement was but I know that I didn’t meet it.
So I called them on the phone. I opened with “I’ve had Discover for 20 years.” The woman was enthusiastic and said “Yes I see that – since 1994! Thank you for being such a good customer.” I told her I was interested in the It card and she started pitching the benefits. There was no mention at all about my qualifications. 20 years of loyal service qualified me. All those years of not missing payments, and only being late a few times (and only a day late) planted seeds that took root. Now when I wanted something I already had favor. They were happy to upgrade my card. And I will get more cash back in addition to the free credit reports. Awesome sauce!
All this was God encouraging me that I’ve got good seed in the ground. Even though I may not be where I want to be right now, the things I did when I was able are making a difference now. Not that I’m coasting on the past, but my past is making a positive difference in my present. I’ve established credit. I have a good credit score due to past choices. ☺

God's Beloved, even if you are not where you want to be right now, or even if you feel like you haven't sown enough seeds to get where you want to go, realize that God is greater than every problem. He mercifully forgets sins but graciously remembers the good seeds we have sown. God knows how to bring us to a flourishing finish.

There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears.
Philippians 1:6 The Message
Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, some multiplying thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times."
Mark 4:8 NIV
When Isaac planted his crops that year, he harvested a hundred times more grain than he planted, for the LORD blessed him.

Heavenly Father
I recognize You are the Lord of the harvest. I may not do everything right, but You are able to produce a great harvest with even a little seed. I thank You for the harvest coming on the seeds I have already sown. I thank You for the seed You give me, and I ask for grace and wisdom to manage it well. Lord I am grateful because You are focused on the best in me. When I am tempted to back down from a challenge remind me that You are the One who qualifies me, and brings me to victory.
