YES is Required

A Message from Anointed Messenger

I recently started a text message ministry. I started by sending a few texts to people I know, with a request to
reply YES if they wanted to receive daily text messages. Many of them replied YES but some did not. Some replied with other things and a few not at all.

Later it turned out some of the people thought they were subscribed when they were not. They thought because they'd received a message, and/or had a relationship with me, they would automatically receive the messages. I'm happy to share the messages with all whom desire them, but it's my policy not to force my messages/ministry on anyone. If they want to receive all they have to do is say YES.

It made me think about how God has given us free will to make choices about our life and destiny; and He will not violate that free will. I talked to God long before I made Him my Lord and Savior, therefore I thought all was well (despite the fact there was still an emptiness, longing, etc.). God gives us "freebies" just as I send out a few texts to let people know what they're missing.

God wants to bless us, and longs to be in relationship with us - but God needs us to say YES to Him. A lot of people talk to God, a lot of people call on God in trouble, and many even receive God's blessings. But not as many have made God their Lord and Savior. Not many have surrendered their will to God's will.

Regardless of what you do God will always love you, but until you say YES to God you won't receive everything God has for you.

For many are called (invited and summoned), but few are chosen.
Matthew 22:14 Amplified Bible

Lord
Forgive me for any and every area of my life where I have failed to say YES to You. I say YES to You now; and invite You to have Your way in me.
