Child Things are Gonna Get Easier

A Message from Anointed Messenger

Then the LORD God provided a vine and made it grow up over Jonah to give shade for his head to ease his discomfort, and Jonah was very happy about the vine.
Jonah 4:6 NIV

Receive this Word from the LORD:

The song Ooh Child was featured in the blockbuster film Guardians of the Galaxy (which was awesome BTW), and I was reminded of a time when God sang it over me.

Yes God does sing over us. Zephaniah 3:17 says For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.” I have personally known God to sing over me many times in many ways. Sometimes a song will keep me all through the night. Other times when I hear a song my spirit reacts the same way it does when I receive a Rhema Word.
On this occasion I had gone through many battles and was weary when the LORD dropped Ooh Child in my spirit. The song stayed in my spirit day and night. The lyrics promise of things getting easier, and of brighter days coming. It brought me great comfort. I knew God was letting me know that things were going to get better, and that He was indeed with me. The song says "We'll get it together and we'll get it all done", and that's very appropriate because God and I are in this together. I know God was not just talking about things getting better "in the sweet by and by" of heaven but on this earth. We will see the goodness of the Lord while we are in the land of the living [Psalm 27:13].

When I heard the song in the movie, I knew the real Guardian of the galaxy was reassuring me He is still with me, He's still got me, and bright days are on the horizon. God's Beloved, no matter what you go through, remember you don't go through it alone, and God wants to bring you out victoriously. The enemy will tell you that your mistakes have disqualified you, but God is dedicated to your good outcome. Jonah ran from God, yet God still showed him mercy and grace. In case you find yourself in a challenging season, remember things are going to get easier.

------------------

I waited patiently for the Lord to help me,
and he turned to me and heard my cry.
He lifted me out of the pit of despair,
out of the mud and the mire.
He set my feet on solid ground
and steadied me as I walked along.
He has given me a new song to sing,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see what he has done and be amazed.
They will put their trust in the Lord.
Psalm 40:1-3 New Living Translation

Lord I thank You that there is a season for everything; a time to cry and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance. During the harder times I am grateful that You remind me trouble doesn't last forever, and things do get easier.

Ooh-oo child
Things are gonna get easier
Ooh-oo child
Things'll get brighter
Ooh-oo child
Things are gonna get easier
Ooh-oo child
Things'll get brighter
Some day, yeah
We'll get it together and we'll get it all done
Some day
When your head is much lighter
Some day, yeah
We'll walk in the rays of a beautiful sun
Some day
When the world is much brighter
Ooh-oo child
Things are gonna be easier
Ooh-oo child
Things'll get be brighter
Ooh-oo child
Things are gonna be easier
Ooh-oo child
Things'll get be brighter
Some day, yeah
We'll get it together and we'll get it all done
Some day
When your head is much lighter
Some day, yeah
We'll walk in the rays of a beautiful sun
Some day
When the world is much brighter
Some day, yeah
We'll get it together and we'll get it all done
Some day
When your head is much lighter
Some day, yeah
We'll walk in the rays of a beautiful sun
Some day
When the world is much brighter
Ooh-oo child
Things are gonna get easier
Ooh-oo child
Things'll get brighter
Ooh-oo child
Things are gonna get easier
Ooh-oo child
Things'll get brighter
Right now, right now
(you just wait and see how things are gonna be)
